Since 2014, we have led the charge to create phone-free schools, supporting thousands of pupils across Ireland every day. With Ireland-based partner support and implementation, Yondr is proud to work with schools to help pupils experience the focus, creativity, and relief that comes with a phone-free education.
UNLOCK NEW FUNDING FOR SECURE STORAGE OF MOBILE PHONES
The Ireland Department of Education announced new funding to support the secure storage of mobile phones in post-primary schools:
This funding is part of the Government’s wider move to restrict phone use during the school day, including breaks.
The grant applies to Yondr lockable pouches and Yondr unlocking bases, which are considered a secure storage solution.
Schools already using Yondr can apply for funding to replace up to 20% of their equipment and support incoming first years.
Funding is available to schools in the Free Education Scheme. Fee-paying schools will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Funding Deadline:
Applications must be submitted by 24 June 2025.
